Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kimball of Toronto visited last Wednesday with Mrs. Bessie McCutcheon at the Callendar Nursing Home. Several from Brussels and area attended the wedding reception for Don Deitner and Joan Simpson last Saturday evening. Born in Amaranth Town- ship in Dufferin County on April 13, 1915, he was the son of the late James Snowden and Augusta Haines. He married Caroline Humphrey of West Wawanosh on June 9, 1945. The club installed its new executive during a meeting at the Howick Community Centre last week. • BLUEVALE I The girls just have finished another club, "Fitness Fare". The seven meetings were held Tuesday evenings. Tammy Kieffer was the club president, Lisa Henry, the vice president, and the position of secretary was roving. At one of the meetings, the Bluevale I club challenged the Bluevale II club to a fitness meet. They went to the Wingham Bowling Lartes, where Blpevale Cattle out on top. They then went hack, to the hall for a delicious supper prepared by 4-H members. The meeting books are to Fox, Paul Moffatt, Ross Goll, Ken Nethercott, . Jim Fox and DeWitt Adams. Floral tributes were carried by Ken Higgins and Kevin and Doug McArter. Mrs. McCrackin passed away on October 14 at the Callander Nursing Home, Brussels. She was in her 93rd year and was born on Feb. 1, 1892. A native of Elma Town- ship in Perth County, she was the former Mina Fox, daughter of the late Edward Fox and Mary Anne Bird. She was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1958. Mrs. McCrackin leaves to mourn three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Lila) Goll of Brussels, Mrs. Stanley (Vera) Moffatt of Bluevale and Mrs. Clarence (Beth) Goll of Morris Township and one son Lorne of Bluevale. There is one surviving sister, Mrs. Margaret Adarhs of Wroxeter, four grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Willie, Arnie and Sylvester and two sisters, Etta Locking and Effie Stretton.
