Frederick Tuck, passed
away at Rammeloo Guest
Home, Blyth, on Thursday,
October 11.
The former Hazel D.
Douglas was born in Howick
Township, a daughter of the
late James Douglas and
Margaret Buttery. She was
in her 80th year. She was
predeceased by her husband
in 1965 and is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Neil
(Nancy) McColl of Camp-
bellford and Mrs.lmer
(Yvonne) Deyell, London;
one stepdaughter, Mrs.
Robert (Dorothea) Peter,
Bowmanville; four grand-
children and four great-
grandchildren. There is one
sister, Mr& Elmer (Flor-
ence) Purdon of Wingham.
She was predeceased by her
sister, Mrs. Ewart (Pearl)
McKercher of RR 2,
Wroxeter, her brother, Carl
Douglas of Belmore, and an
infant sister, Margaret.
Funeral service was
conducted Saturday at two
o'clock at The McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham, by
Rev. Kenneth Bauman of
Blyth. Interment followed in
Wroxeter Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lorne
Metcalfe, Brian Metcalfe,
Ken Dettman, Stuart
Douglas, Brian Randall and
Garry Cullion. Wayne
Douglas and Arlene McColl
carried flowers to the
graveside,
at the funeral home service
and the service of committal
at Wroxeter Cemetery, her
final resting place.
Pallbearers were Carl
Fitch, Eldred Cathers,
Archie Purdon, Ernie
Merkley, Raymond Kermath
and John Johnston. Melville
Dennis and Fred Lewis
carried floral tributes.
Mrs. Neill passed away
Saturday, October 13, at
Wingham and District
Hospital following a lengthy
illness. She was in her 87th
year, born on December 30,
1897. A native of Howick
Township, she was the
former Esther F. McCreery,
a daughter of the late John
McCreery and Margaret
Jane Cathers,
After red iving her
education in Amick, Mrs.
Neill worked in the Tailor
Shop in ,Gorrie. She married
Mr. Neill on October 1, 1919,
at the McCreery residence
and they farmed for many
years in the Belmore area
where they were highly
respected and active in
church and community life.
They moved to Wingham in,
June of 1967 and she was
bereaved by the death of her
life partner in 1972.
Mrs. Neill is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. Jim
(Margaret) Stokes of Tees -
water and Mrs. Allan (Mur-
iel)Watson•of Keswick; one
son Raymond and his wife
Elinor of RR 2, Wingham;
one granddaughter, Mrs.
Carl (Wanda) Miller of
Teeswater and one great-
granddaughter, Melanie.
There are two surviving
sisters, Mrs. Webster (Eva)
Jacklin of Brookhaven,
Wingham, and Mrs. George
(Ethel) Brown, Gorrie; two
step -grandchildren and
three step -great-grandsons.
She was predeceased by one
brother, Oliver.
Mrs. Neill was a member
of St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Wingham.

illness, Miss Helen E.
Black of 99 Gracefield
Crescent, Kitchener. Miss
Black is a former resident
of Wingham where she

late William A. Galbraith
on Centre Street. She.
