GODERICH SIGNAL -STAR, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1979—PAGE 15A
ions for the young miss are fun to wear
The modern young Goderich and area miss
'will find the latest fashions for school and for
relaxation at The Children's Shoppe in
Suncoast Mall. Here Ingrid Claus, daughter,
of store proprietor Marjorie Claus, shows off
her two-piece velour burgandy pant suit. The
taupe-stripedtayoke makes the suit newsy on
n le fullness beneath
the yoke makes it comfortable and flattering
to most young figures. Better still, mom will
love the ensemble because it is completely
washable as are all, clothes from The
Children's Shoppe.
Ingrid is looking over her shoulder to make
certain her fuschia shirtwaister of 100
percent polyester looks as good from the
back as from the front: Ingrid, like all
youngsters Who w.ear size 8 to 14x teen, is
delighted with the new line at The Children's
Shoppe. The dress by Jay Lynn has a Peter
Pan collar, a feminine yoke, three-quarter
length. sleeves and a snappy cinched
elasticised waist: It is an ideal dress. for the
Christmas season that is less than three
months away.
Every girl likes a sweater and a skirt for
school or for casual parties and fun. Ingrid
chose this flannel plaid skirt by Maggie
Muggins in shades of brown. The loose pleats
make it oh so fashionable and none of the
skirt's smartness is lost by' adding a good
fitting dark brown turtleneck sweater of 100
percent polyester by Scout Tex. The whole
ensemble is washable although the skirt to
look -its best for' a long time, should be
handled carefully by a doting mom.

Winter winds can blow from any direction.
Ingrid is ready now for the cold weather in
this smart grey herringbone tweed all -wool
coat. Designed on princess lines with nice
deep slant pockets and a full pile lining, this
coat'becfimes high fashion with it
detachable hood and scarf of reversible
tweed and plain grey. Hard to believe that
while Ingrid cuddles into her new coat, mom
Marjorie is off to Toronto looking at spring
lines and selecting fashions for summer 1980.
At the end of a perfect day, there's nothing
like crawling into a snuggly soft housecoat of
100 percent acrylic. This one of palest yellow
touched with yellow, white and pink print
and lace at the collar and cuffs, is tiers with a
g t ye ow ribbon at the waist. And
will
stay soft after many washings. This is part of
a new gift line at The Children's Shoppe,
selected by Marjorie Claus during the 30
days or so she spends each year finding just
the right clothes and accessories to meet the
needs of Goderich and area customers.
