Centre will be hub of fall
program. for Anglicans
St. George's Anglican
Church, Goderich is
planning a new fall
program for children and
youth. This program is a
comnehensive one,
taking in all ages from
babies to young adults.
Mrs. Irene Clarke is in
the process of setting up a
Resource Centre which
will becpme the hub
around which all groups
will function.
Core leaders for each
group have •been ap-
pointed, and leaders will
work with them on
programming. This
programming will in-
clude religious education,
crafts, games, music,
outdoor and indoor ac-
tivities.
Helping with the
programming are
resource people with
specialized skills and
interests.
These group activities
are intended as on-going
yearly programs, each
feeding automatically
into the other.
A Children and Youth
Committee has been
working continuously all
summer, processing
leaders and activities.
This activity was com-
menced at the request of
the children.
A parish meeting will
be held on September 9,
immediately following
the 11 a.m.. service.
Coffee will be served.
Formation of each
group will take place at
the earliest possible date
following this meeting.
Core leaders will be in-
troduced at this time.

Putting your face in the water can be a trying ex-
perience when you're just a little kid, especially
when somebody littler is watching you recover. Six-
year-old Philip Gower rubs his eyes while his cousin
Galen Gower, four, watches with an amused ex-
pression on his face. Below, Galen tries to show
Philip how it's done, but that's as far as his face got.
Philip doesn't seem to be interested. (photos by
