Declining enrolment forwl-the board to pare its staff to about 167 teachers from its current level of more than 170. However, attrition provided openings for all but three teachers. ' The summer_ school teachers will be paid $15 an hour for the six weeks of classes and •Mrs. Weary said "six weeks (of work). is better than no weeks." ThO board has hired two substitute teachers from Huron County and two ,u)emplpyed teachers froth London to teach the classes. Board chairman John 'Elliott said that, while it would benefit the,, students to have regular teachers in charge of the summer school programs, he didn't think the program will suffer much. 4-H Calf Club meets • BY KEVIN SMITH On June 21 the regular meeting of the Dungannon 4"H Calf Club was held on the farm of Cliff and Glen McNeil.
