A Kub Kar Rally was held by the third Ind fourth Goderich Cub
packs at North Street United Church last Tuesday evening. Each
Cub had to make his own "kar" to measurement for racing from
a kit containing a block of wood and four wheels. Shown here, left
to right, are Brad Betties (first place race winner), Michael Bush
(second- place race winner), Murray Lane (best car design,
fourth Goderich pack), Robbi Dixon (best car design, third
Goderich pack), Scott Hilgendorff (tie for .third place race

difficult decisionto reach
since so • many of the
youngsters are talented, I
think we have succeeded
in getting together six
talented boys and girls
who can pass as a family.
I'm looking forward to
working with these bright
young people.
"Performing is," he
emphasized to the young
people, "a great deal' of
work - ten percent in-
spiration and 90 percent
perspiration - as the
saying goes."
"I hope the other
children who ' also
auditioned but who did
not get parts .will not be
discouraged. Inter-
' national Year of the Child
seems the appropriate
time to produce a show
with opportunities for
children," he said.
The Sound of Music
goes into rehearsal on
August 6. It opens on
August 22 and runs
through September 1 at
the Playhouse in Grand
Bend.

June 17 24
The residents of

senior citizens of Ontario,
will celebrate Senior
citizens week from June
17-24.
The committee of
management of
Huronview has declared
open house for the week
and invites all senior
citizens to come and join
in the programs. For this
week only, the dinin
room will be open to
Senior Citizens visitors at
a nominal charge for both
the dinner and- supper
meal.
