Easter lilies adorned Victoria Street United Church
in Goderich for the wedding of Heather A. Allen and
Harry A. McArthur on April 14 at 3:00 p.m.
The Reverend John D.M. Wood, of Goderich, of-
ficiated the double ring ceremony. Scott Bradford of
Kitchener played the organ.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Catherine
Allen, Goderich, and tIfe groom is the son of Lois and
the late Donald McArthur, Victoria. B.C.
The bride was given in. marriage by her parents.
She wore a dress of white jeresy with a low neckline
bordered by French lace. French lace also adorned
the sleeves. The bride carried tiger lilies,' white
french roses, and lily -of -the -valley.
The bride was attended by Ann Bradford, Janice
Glen, Laura Mero, all friends of the bride of Kit-
chener, and Roberta Allen, sister of the .bride, of
Vancouver...
They wore silk jeresy, long dresses of midnight blue
with a blouson style. They carried bouquets of white
roses and blue daisies.
Leslie Brereton, niece of the bride, of Exeter, was
flower girl. She wore a long, peasant style dress
adorned with midnight blue flowers and beige lace.
Leslie carred a basket of white and blue daises, and
baby breath'.
The groom's best man was Phil Walters, of Mitchell,
cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Gary Allen, Brian Allen, brothers of
the bride, of Goderich, and John Jesson, friend of the
groom, of Kitchener.
The reception was held at Goderich Memorial
Arena, which was decorated with daisy flower
arrangements.
The bride's- mother wore a long, apple green dress
with a low neckline, and buttons down the front;
The bride wore a rose and beige flowered suit, with a
mid -.length skirt.
After honeymooning in Puerto Rica for two weeks,
the couple took up residence in Kitchener.
Showers were given by Ann Bradford of Kitchener,
a friend of the bride, and by Donna and Debbie Allen,
sisters of the bride.

Live on farm
The Church of God in Grand Bend was the scene of a
wedding uniting David Rodges and Debra Snider in
holy matrimony on Saturday, April 28.
The Reverend J. Campbell officiated at the double
ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Snider of Zurich and the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Rodges of Goderich.
Following the wedding ceremony a reception was
held at the Pine Ridge Chalet in Hensall.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Mr. and Mrs.
Rodges took up residence oh their farm at R.R. 1
