win two -ball
'The holiday weekend is
over and its back home
and back to work, or
school, for many people.
For golfers, it was a
good weekend to get back
in the swing of things,
with both beautiful
weather (except for the
two -ball event) and an
extra day to get the feel of
golfing again.
Evelyn Evans and
George Bolton were the
winners of the Two -Ball
event on Monday with a
fine 44 for nine holes of
golf. Other winners were
Rocky Whalen and Bob
McDougall, Shirley
Baechler and Mike
Russelo, Joyce Bolton
and Cliff Kennedy.
A great pot -luck supper
was enjoyed by all.
The next two -ball party
will be held on Sunday
June 3 at 1 p.m. This
event will start with a
brunch and 18 holes of
golf to follow, Plan to
attend and sign in at the
pro shop.
The men enjoyed their
skill at using only three
clubs on men's nite past.

was won by Pete
Teichert..

I think we can safely

golfing season is now in
full swing at the Maitland
Country Club. The lower
holes are in play, and
while they are still a little
