Broadcast

ANDIANICE POLLOCK
Brookside has decided to
start to play two other intra-
mural sports at the school,
these being basketball and
bordenball. It is planned to
pick teams within the next
few days.
In boys' hockey the Flames
recently defeated the Butch-
ers 3 - 2.
The snowshoes at Brook-
side have -been- usedexten-
sively during the past month.
Some students use them at
recess, some in physical edu-
cation periods and some earn
time on snowshoes as a class
privilege. It is good to see
-them used so well.
On February 2nd the sen-
ior girls' hockey team played
in Ripley against the senior
girls' team there. The score
was 1 - 0 for Brookside with
Peggy Gibson getting the
goal. Laurie West, as goalie,
kept the puck out of her net
even though she was wearing
borrowed skates.
