There were plenty of "greasers" on hand at . the fifties dance held by the Grade 7 and 8 students at Robertson Memorial Public School last Wednesday. The students managed Captain Comet's book review to raise about $25 from the dance to go toward Grade &graduation expenses. All teams played and tried their hardest this season. The winning ` team members are: Captains, Robin Moore, Douglas '•Lounsbury, Wayne Hertog, Kelly Allin, Colin Shand, Todd Wilson, Tim Wilson, Tim Langridge, Danny Trebish. Congratulations team! SENIOR GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS On Monday, January 29 the• Panthers played the Falcons for the girls' volleyball championship at. Robertson. It was' a fantastic game to the finish. But in the end, the Panthers won 32-30. BASKETBALL CAPTAINS Basketball teams leave been chosen at Robertson and games will begin this week. The boys' captains are: Chris Knox, Fraser Huych, Mike Bedard and Paul McCartney. The girls' captains are: Vicki Jones, Diane Ross and Natalie Sully. GIRLS CHALLENGE BOYS The girls volleyball champions, the Panthers, who were the winners for the intramural volleyball game, challenged the boys' volleyball -cham- pions, the Tigers in a game Thursday, February 2. The boys defeated the girls with a score of 30-5. JUNIOR BOYS' VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP On February 2 the Tiger Cats and Vikings for the championship. SPEECHES Speeches will be heard at Robertson School on February 8 at 9:30 a.m. for Grade 7 and 8 and at 10:45 a.m. for Grades 4,5 and 6. More will be said on this next week.
