the ,powerful Foresters

Here skiing activity is
intense with numerous
automobiles parked
along the roadway,
giving an indication of the

to dodge errant skiers

__ Whenever the GDCI
teachers meet the A.M. &
G. Hospital No. 1 team
the game is destined to be
a close and exciting
confrontation. Last
Thursday was no ex-
ception to this rule as the
two teams fought it out
with the GDCI Teachers
claiming a 7-5 last end
triumph. Skips Ron
Klages and George
Sutton, both emjoyed
good nights in a game
where there were very
few easy shots. Donna
Doidge and Craig Cass,
were also on opposite
sides and both were
outstanding for their
respective teams.
While the Klages rink
was going down to a
tough defeat the A.M. &
G. Hospital No. 2 team
was exploding far a 14-2
defeat of the Victoria
Teachers. Unlike the
previous week when Ron
Ritchie was able to lead
his team in an heroic
comeback there was no
escaping the outcome of
this match as the
hospitalites took a quick
8-0 lead after only three
ends and then curled'
expertly to record their
win. Joe Ducharme,
Jennifer Matthews Judith
Anne Murray and Elmer
Taylor all 'had , near
perfect nights that left

the GDCI Vikings. The
