Wed in Belgrave'
Knox United Church in Be'grave was the scene of a
pretty wedding on Saturday, September 9 at 4 p.m.
when Nancy Jean Anderson and Richard Charles Ball
exchanged vows.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ross
Anderson of Belgrave and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Melbourne Ball of Goderich.
The Reverend John Roberts officiated at the double
ring ceremony. Music was provided by organist Doug
Crich, cousin of the groom and soloist Brenda John-
ston, friend of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Doreen Anderson of Belgrave,
sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheila Anderson
of Belgrave, sister of the bride and Louise Maio of
Toronto, friend of the bride.
Groomsman was Gerald Ball of Clinton, brother of
the groom.
Guests were ushered into the church by Robert. Ball
of Guelph, brother of the groom,and Richard Anderson
of London, brother of the bride.
Following the wedding ceremony,. a dinner and
reception were held atthe Goderich Legion Hall.
After a wedding trip to Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs.
Ball took up residence in Hanover, Ontario.

Coral and white weddin
Coral glads and shasta daisies decorated North
Street United Church in Goderich on September 16 at 4
p.m. for the wedding ceremony of Michael Francis
Moran and Kathryn Ann Adams, both of Goderich.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Adams of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Alvin Moran of Lucknow.
The Reverend Ralph King conducted the ceremony
with music provided by Mr. Blackwell, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She
wore a formal gown of white matte silk featuring a
fitted bodice and waistline, a sweetheart neckline and
an accordion pleated skirt. The dress was daintily
trimmed with guipure lace which accented the
shoulders and neckline. The bride's three -tiered silk
illusion veil was held by a Juliet cap. She carried a
bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses, white carnations
and white orchids.
Maid of honor was Miss Susan Adams of London,
sister of the bride., She wore a formal length coral
colored gown featuring a mandarin neckline, full skirt
and matching cape. She carried a nosegay of daisies
and baby's breath.
Bridesmaids were Miss Pat Pfrimmer of North Bay,
sister of the bride and Mrs. Dianne Kellestine of
Goderich, friend of the bride. They were gowned
identically to the maid of honor and carried the same
nosegays.
Groomsman was Ronald Moran of London, brother

John Adams of Cambridge, bro&her of the bride and
Steven Wylds.of Lucknow, brother-in-law of the
groom.
Following the wedding a dinner and reception were
held at Saltford Valley Hall. The bride's mother
greeted guests in a formal gown of beige with a
matching jacket and a corsage of silk flowers.
The groom's mother chose a formal ,gown in
turquoise with a matching jacket and corsage of silk
roses.
For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the bride
changed to a beige pantsuit with brown accessories.
Mr. and 'Mrs. Mike Moran will reside at RR6
Goderich.
Prior to the weddingthe bride was feted at a shower
at the home of Mrs. Jack Farrish, RR7 Lucknow and a
shower given by Mrs. Dianne Kellestine and Mrs.
Jean Croft at the home of Mrs. Alvin Riley, Goderich.

1978: Wedding writeups and pictures will be
accepted free of charge by this newspaper for
