getting LATE.
If you have someone
doing this - disrupting or
holding up the class -
TELL them about it.
They may not know you
are all getting there early
for a good reason. The
teacher will not scold
anyone, so for your own
sake-- !
There are so many ads
and TV programs or just
advertising about people
wasting electricity. I am
one who is a saver and
have always been con-
scientious about the best
way to use it.
e-.y_--r,,T—•gseheesed-Doff--
with being nagged con-
tinually about turning off
a light bulb or two when
companies and the malls
are allowed to leave great
banks of lights on all
night.
Did you ever pass the
Suncoast Mall in the late
hours and see how well
the empty parking lot is
lit? - So why should the
little • fellow .he nagged
when the big ones insist
on using millions of
kilowatts - for nothing?
Think how much
cheaper our groceries
could be if these store
keepers did .not have .to
pay such high rent?
I am all for using lights
for safety, but I think the
lights around the building
- and in this case the
lights on the highway cast
enough light into the
parking lot:
I just wish others would
object - verbally - about
this waste that they are
bugging us about.
Wasting electricity turns
people OFF - I'm really
turned OFF.
