regarding a proposed

examined and discussed

Representatives from
Maitland Valley Con-
servation Authority
presented a proposal to
council that M.V.C.A.
would pay 75 percent of

(Benmiller) to the Falls
Reserve Park. A firm
price of $14,725.00 has
been received from the .
Lavis Contracting of
Clinton and the work
could be done in 1978.
The cost to Colborne
Township would be
$3,680.00 providing that '

grading. Mrs. Norma
Hazlitt who was at-
tending the meeting
expressed her opinion
that the paving would
create a speedway and
methods of controlling
the speed of traffic were
considered.
Council accepted the
proposal of M.V.C.A.
In reply to a letter from
the Town of Goderich
about the Senior Citizen
Housing Project on West
Street stating that ap-
proximately $40,000.00
was required to finance
the purchase of the
property and that
Colborne Township's
share would be 16.37
percent, Council in-
structed -the Clerk to
write the Goderich Town
Clerk and request an
itemized statement
regarding the purchase of
the property. At the
September 19 meeting the
money was approved.
Mrs. Chisholm, Mrs.
McKee and Mrs. ,Hazlitt
approached council
regarding what the
council could do about
rubble and old equipment
