Diann Riley July bride..
North Street United Church in Goderich was the
setting for the marriage ceremony of Diann Elizabeth
Riley and Donald Charles Kellestine on Saturday, July
15.

Goderich wed
Victoria Street United Church in Goderich was
prettily decorated with yellow potted mums on July 21
at 7 p.m. for 'the wedding of Patricia Ann Hiusser of
Goderich ' and Robert Wesley Burroughs also of
Goderich.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith
Hiusser of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mrs.
Catherine Burroughs of Goderich and the late Wesley
Burroughs.
The Reverend John Wood officiated at the
ceremony. The organist was Mrs. Snyder.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and
father. She wore a bridal gown of polyester over nylon
with a long train and veil. She carried a bouquet of
yellow daisies, miniature carnations and baby's
breath with white streamers.
Maid of honor was Miss Barbara McKenzie of
Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a yellow floral
gown and yellow picture hat. She carried a basket of
white daisies, yellow miniature carnations and baby's
breath.
Bridesmaids were Cathy Hiusser of Goderich, sister
of the bride; Debbie Melick of Goderich, cousin of the
bride; Barbara Doig of Seaforth, cousin of the bride;
and Chris Garrick of Goderich, friend of the bride.
They wore peach floral gowns with white picture hats.
They all carried white baskets with white daisies,
peach miniature carnations and baby's breath.
All of the brie's attendants wore gold heart
necklaces, a gift from the bride.
Flower girl was Crystal Mathers_of_Goderich, friend.
of the bride. She was gowned the same as the maid of
honor and wore a silver cross, a gift from the bride.
Groomsman was John Burroughs of Goderich,
brother of the groom. Ushers were Brian Hiusser of
Goderich, brother of the bride; Bill and Bob Proctor of
Goderich, cousins of the. groom ; and Roy Taylor, of
Seaforth, cousin of the bride.
Ringbearer was Michael Burroughs of Goderich,
nephew of the groom.
The groom's attendants all wore dark blue tuxedos
with white carnation boutonnieres.
Folfowing the wedding ceremony, a reception was.
held at the Goderich Legion Hall which was decorate
with pink and white streamers and white bells for he
occasion.
The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a own
of polyester mint green with a corsage- of m7iature
white carnations.
The groom's mother chose a gown of pink/and white

For a wedding trip, the bride changed/o a light blue
striped jump suit with a corsage of pink/carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Burroughs will reside at 79 Hamilton
Street in Goderich.
Prior to the wedding, the groofn's mother held a
Tupperware party for the bride 'and Mrs. Mary Lou
Melick and Mrs. Shirley Smith, aunts of the bride and
Chris Garrick, friend of the bade held a miscellaneous
shower at McKay Hall for fa Mily and friends.

July wedding
Victoria Street United hurch in Goderich was
nicely decorated with coral glads and white mums on
Saturday, July22 at 3 p.m. for the wedding ceremony
of Mary Christine De Weese of Goderich and John
Edward Johnston of R.R. 2 Goderich.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willy De
Weese of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ted Johnston of R.R. 2 Goderich.
The Reverend John Wood officiated at the double
ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She
wore a full length gown of satin and chiffon featuring a
high neck, angle sleeves, lace trimming and a touch
length veil. She carried a cascade bouquet featuring a
large hand -made red rose, baby's breath and white
carnations.
Maid of honor was Miss Julie Armstrong of
Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a coral satin
gown with a flowered chiffon covering and lace apron
style trim. It featured angle sleeves also. She wore a
wedding hat with a small coral rose and ribbon trim.
Bridesmaids ,were Miss Shelley Kilbasco of Kit-
chener, friend of the bride and Miss Debbie Johnston
of Goderich, sister of the groom. They wore gowns and
hats the same as the ma id'of honor's.
Each of the bride's attendents carried a colonial
clutch of orange feathered carnations with whi
daisies•and baby's breath.
The groom wore a white tuxedo with matching, est
--and-ruffled-shirt amia red rose boutonniere.
.Bestman was Roy Fisher of Goderich, friesof the
groom. Also attending the groom were Steve/Johnston
of Goderich, brother of the groom and Kevii Williams
of Goderich, frienthof the groom. Wshers were Bob
and Brian Johnston, brothers of the gyOom. They all
wore -brown tuxedos with matching v,ests and orange
• feathered carnation boutonnieres. /
Following the wedding ceremony, a dinner:was held
at the Bedford Hotel in Goderich and a reception was
held at the Goderich Arena. •/
The bride's mother greete1 guests in a baby blue
chiffon gown with long sleev s and a corsage of white
roses.
For a wedding trip to Florida, the bride changed to a
white and red plaid three-quarter length dress with a
corsage of red sweetheart roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed/Johnston will reside at R.R. 2
Goderich. •
- Prior to the -Wedding the bride was feted with -
several showers held by Mrs. Ruth Oke and
daughters, Mrys. June Montgomery and girls and Miss
Julie Armstrong, all of Goderich.

provided a beautiful background for the occasion.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin S.
Riley of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and,
Mrs. Charles Kellestine of Goderich.
The Reverend John Wood officiated at the double
ring ceremony. Mrs. Eleanor Hetherington of
Hamilton played the wedding music.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a
formal gown of pure.white nylon organza featuring a
French chantilly lace bodice dusted with seed pearls,
a renaissance neckline and bishop sleeves. Crystal
pleating formed a wide border at the hemline which
fell into a chapel train. The three tiered fingertip veil
of silk illusion was held by a matching Juliet cap of
French lace.
The bride carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses,
white lilies and baby's breath.
Miss Kathie Adams, friend of the bride, was maid of
honour. She wore a gown of pistachio green jersey
with a fitted bodice and shoulder straps, a softly
draped pullover cape and a stitched down released
pleated skirt.. She carried a bouquet of miniature
yellow roses, baby's breath and white ribbon
strea mers .
Bridesmaids were Miss Donna Kellestine, sister of
the groom and Miss'Janice King of Sault Ste. Marie,
earain of the bride. 'They were aTtiredthe same as the
maid of honour.

Master Paul Steep was the ring bearer wearing
white pants, satin cumberbund and ruffled shirt.
The groom's attendants were attired in brown
tuxedoes and white ruffled shirts trimmed with brown,
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Riley wore a floor
length gown of candelight imported chiffon jersey
with a softly gathered bodice, fitted waist and full
skirt. She was complemented by an amber cym-
bediurn.orchid.
The groom's mother wore a formal gown of doir blue
chiffon, featuring a cape with mandarine neckline and
cream beige skirt. Her corsage was pink roses.
The wedding dinner was served in the church hall.
The Reverend Ure Stewart of Seaforth, a family
friend, gave the blessing. Mr. John, Buchanan was
master of ceremonies and the toast to the bride was
proposed by Mr. Jack Mathison of Toronto.
The wedding reception followed at Saltford Valley
. _ .
Prior to their marriage, the bride and groom were
entertained at social functions given in their honour.
Mrs. Ila VVorsell was hostess for a neighbourhood bed,
and bath shower. -Mrs. Kim Colter held a shower for
school friends. A shower was held at the home of Mrs.
John Adams, where the hostesses were Miss Kathie
Adams and Miss Donna Kellestine. The groom's
associates at the Signal -Star Publishing Company also
presented the couple with gifts.
The rehearsal party was held at the horiae of the
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kellestine,
R.R. 5, Goderich.

Goderich home
Crediton United Church was the scene of a pretty
summer wedding when Kathy Marie Dinney and
William Neville Tideswell were united in marriage on
July 22.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Dinney of Crediton and the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Tideswell of Goderich.
The Reverend Grant Mills officiated at the
ceremony.
Maid of honor was Darlene Chowen and
bridesmaids were Vicky Roger and Karen McKay.
The best man was..Richard Stevens and g_uests were
ushereci by John Tideswell and Dale Dinney.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple
will take up residence in Goderich.
