The two forces have beefed
up their manpower and plan
to maintain a high profile
during the weekend
preceding Hallowe'en and on
the Monday night Hallowe'en
falls on. Both men are op-

Goderich and the surrounding
townships will use their
better judgment with regards
to vandalism that is done
under the disguise of a
Hallowe'en practical joke.
King said he has doubled
his manpower for the last
weekend in October and plans
to keep his officers visible to
try to deter pranksters. He
said he has sworn in 10 men
as special constables to
bolster his force for the
weekend before Hallowe'en
and for the big day itself. He
added that of the 10 most have
served as special constables
