There are talks and demonstrations available on Gardening Under Lights, Indoor Plant Propagation, Fundamentals of • Indoor Plant Culture, Foliage Plants for Indoors, Hanging a Garden, High -Rise Horticulture, Landscape Design and Dining with Herbs. There are also workshops for Design with Dried and Preserved Plant Materials, Christmas Designs in the Home, Table Settings, Designs with Candles, etc. Speakers trained in various fields are prepared to travel to any part of Ontario to present talks or demon- strations to clubs or com- munity groups. Plant specialists will help people with advice by mail or phone, exhibits are on loan for fairs, etc, and consultation is available on such matters as developing public gardens and street plantings. Mr. Richard Reilly will present a series of lectures relating to ancient. Biblical prophesies to the events that are now determining the course of world history. According to the Huron Men's Chapel, the present famine, war, recession, inflation, corruption and fuel shortages were explicitly prophesied in the Bible and these prophesies are so explicit and . the fulfillment so obvious that it can be explained only by being God's revelation. Guest speaker Reilly served in India as a missionary for more than tive years. He then taught high school in Beirut, Lebanon, spending extended periods of time in Israel, there becoming familiar with the Middle East and its people. Russia, Turkey, Syria and Brazil are but a few of the countries he has visited as a mission executive, The Huron Men's Chapel feels that Reilly's con- centrated study of the Bible, his deep spiritual insight, extensive reading and frequent world travel gives him an authoritative knowledge of the subjects upon which he will speak. MARY ELLEN SKIRTEN Mrs. Mary Ellen Skirten of 62 Cawston Street in Stratford died on Sunday, October 16 at the Stratford General Hospital. She was 71. She was the former Mary ':lien Parsons and was horn at Munro, Fullerton Town- 4hip, She was a Stratford resident most of her life.
