Hoover,
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Leta Hoover of
Surrey,. British Columbia. The groom is the son of Rev.
.snd.'t1rs. Leonard Warr of Goderich.
Reverend ,Ralph King conducted the double ring
ceremony,
,The bride was given in marriage by Mr.,Kjell Hansen
of Surrey, B.C.
She wore a gown of off white satin in old fashioned style
with a full cathedral train, sleeves with long cuffs and
Trimmed with green and pink pastel ribbons. She carried
a white Bible withpink roses and long green ribbons.
Nlaid of Minor was Thelma Hoover of Kelowna, B.C.
She Wore a. green dress with pink floral pattern in old
fashioned style with long sleeves. She carried 'pink
arnations and white daisies.
.• Rmridesa ids were Mrs. -Geri .Kahinski; of Fort~Erie and
:Mrs. Dale Anstee of Port.Dover. They were gowned in
pink dresses with green floral pattern in old fashioned
style with long sleeve,. They carried pink carnations and
w hitt, daisies:
F= low ergirl was Nliss Roxanne Hoover of Goderich. She
was dressed the same as the maid of honor and carried a
basket of pink. rose buds and white daisies,
Groomsman was Grant McDougall of Goderich..
Ushers w•'r-e Doug McGregor of RR 2 Kippen and Bill
Bowden of Dungannon. Ringhearer was Andy Orr of
Goderich
North Street Hall was decorated with brandy snifters
with flowers and candles for the reception following the
wedding. •
The })ride's mother wore a peach gown with a corsage
el -green ruses. The groom's mother wore a blue green,
flowered gown with yellow roses,
For a wedding, trip to Nortl }rn Ontario the bride
changed to a silver blue medium length dress with pink
rise corsage.

Wed in Goderich ceremony
Yellow gladioli and white daisies decorated the First
Baptist Church on Friday, August 26 for the wedding of
Dennis George John Luiting and Carol Lynn Chase.
The double ring ceremony took place at 7:30 pm and
was conducted by the Reverend W.H. McWhinnie.
The bride is the daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chase
of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jacobis Luiting of Markstay, Ontario.
The organist was Mr, Frank Bissett who played
selections prior to the ceremony and accompanied Mr.
Bill Chase and Mr. David Medley, uncles of the bride, as
they sang "A Time For Us", the theme song from Romeo
and Juliette.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She
wore a white gown of polyester crepe, featuring a
sweetheart neckline with inset gathered lace. The gown
also featured princess lines with a tie waist band. .The
close fitted long sleeves had inset lace at the wrists, The
skirt had a large ruffle and detachable train. The Juliette
caphad a fingertip veil with white daisey appliques on it.
She carried a cascade bouquet of miniature yellow
roses, white daisies, baby's breath and trailing ivy.
'Maid of honor was Alice Bradley, friend of the bride.
She wore a gown.of green print Spanish silk of the same
design as the bride's dress with short sleeves and minus
the ruffle. She carried a nose -gay of yellow and white
daisies with trailing yellow ribbons.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Vicki Willits of Kincardine,
sister of the bride and Miss Wendy Chase of London, also
a sister of the bride. Their gowns were identical to the
maid of honor's. The gowns were all made by an aunt of
the bride, Mrs, Marj Moore.
Groomsman was Richard Heidekamp .of London.

Ushers were Philip Gingrich of Goderich and Stephen
Chase of Goderich, brother of the bride. The groom and
his attendants wore brown tuxedos.
Following the wedding, a reception was held• at Salt -
ford Valley Hall.
The bride's mother greeted guests in an autumn
colored print floor length gown featuring a cowl neckline.
She wore a corsage of orange roses and stephanotes.
The groom's mother wore a blue print, floor length
gown fashioned with accordian pleats and organna
sleeves. She wore a corsage of yellow roses and
stephanotis.
For a wedding trip to a lakeshore cottage in
Collingwood, the bride changed to a forest green Tunic
with co-ordinating white pants, which she made herself.
She wore her mother's corsage.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was honored at showers
held by Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rivett for , the Chase
relatives; Miss Alice Bradley, Miss Wendy Chase and
Mrs. Vicki Willits for friends of the bride; Mrs. Marj
Moore for relatives and neighbours and- Miss Linda
Talbot of London for college classmates of the bride.
Following the wedding rehearsal, the groom's sister
and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Philip Gingrich en-
tertained the wedding party at their home in Goderich.
Guests attending the wedding travelled from Goderich,
London, Stratford, Kitchener, Markstay, Dungannon,
Florida, Kincardine, Toronto and Africa.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Luiting are residing in Saltford.

The Ahmeek Chapter,
I.O.D.E. meeting for Sep-
tember was held at the home
of Mrs. C. Taylor, Suncoast
Drive, with a very good at-
tendance.
Mrs. G. Henderson,
Regent, -presided over the
meeting and Mrs. C. Ruffell
presented the flags. Minutes
of the last meeting were read
by Mrs. H. Habel and ac-
cepted. Also the treasurer's
report was read and ap-
proved.
Mrs. E. Sitter gave her
report on Honorary, Life and
Primary members. Mrs. A.
Hugill reported on sick and
shut-in cards sent and also a
recent donation to the Heart
Fund. Mrs. C. Cutt reported
for "Services" and spoke
regarding the layettes being
assembled and that further
donations would still be most
acceptable at this time.
For correspondence Mrs.
M. Auld read a Provincial
Chapter newsletter outlining
fall activities. Thank you
notes were read from
Lieutenant Governor Pauline
McGibbon for the lovely
needlepoint picture recently
presented to her from the
Chapter. Also thank you notes
were read from school pupils
who had received chapter
awards and also from several
members who had been ill,
Mrs. C. Ruffell then retired
the flags and a tasty lunch
was provided by the
hostesses. Mrs. Myrtle Stokes
thanked the hostess, Mrs. C.
Taylor, for her hospitality.
