At the Championship Day for the ladies' section at the Maitland Golf Club on September f s. (staff photo) WE PRONG A LEAK i Goderich won the low gross and low net for the O.P.P. division. The Civilian division was won by Tim West of Bayfield and Paul Baechler of Goderich Sunset. This event has been a huge success for the past six years and many thanks goes out to John Philips and Doug Spitzig and their co-workers who have made this so eventful. Club matches have been finalized now with the following results. Men's gross division was won by 1st flight, Dennis Lassaline; 2nd flight; Mark Lassaline; and .. 3rd flight, Bob Cornish. Low net winners, 1st flight, Paul Baechler; 2nd flight, Leroy. Bedour and 3 rd flight, Don Fuller. Two ball,winners were Bob Greer and Bruce Crawford. Ladies gross and net division was won by Sue MacAdam and the two -ball event .was won by Shirley Baechler and Pat Chisholm: The mixed two -ball event winners were Stan Telford and Ev Evens. Congratulations to all winners and runners-up in fine participation in the club events, • This Saturday will be the Clubs Annual play off for ladies' and men's night. Let's hope the weather man willco- opdrate a little better than what he has done in the past. Everyone who has par- ticipated in at least twelve nights will play 18 holes of golf on this day. Book your groups now (ladies please ' arrange to play in groups of three). As the tickets are going fast he sure to pick up your tickets for the closing party held at Salt'ford on October 1.
