Roulston said that the
$207,098 set aside for capital
works was a misleading
figure since it included costs

subdivisions in town and that
the money would be paid back
to the utility by the

A by-law to exempt certain
classes of businesses from the
prohibition in the Retail
Business Sales Act, was given
three readings and passed by
council.
It was moved and seconded
that Mr. Pesces' plan of
subdivision be approved as
per questionnaire and that J.
M. ,Driver's request to in-
crease the size of his trailer
camp be filed until council
checks on the sites of the
proposed trailers, on the
proposal to use one privy for
each two trailers and on the
advisability of servicing the
entire area by the use of
privies.
The clerk was instructed to
prepare a speed limit by-law
for the roads in plans 23, 25
and 26 and two yield signs for
the same area. Council ob-
jected ,to a number of the
signs erected by the Ministry
of Transportation and
Communication as many of
these signs hindered
visibility.
An application by G. Lobb
•for a tile drain loan of $1,800
was ipproved by council.

recent eighth Annual
Meeting, held in Board Room,

continues as secretary -
treasurer. New directors to
the Council are Bob Stove',
Mitchell, replacing W,J•
Rider, Ariss; and Frank
Bickle, Woodstock, replacing
`"Roy Facey, Bright. •
E.L. Chudleigh was elected
as representative Q,F,V,G,A,
and Frank Vanneste, Clan-
deboye, as representative to
the provincial research
committee. Janes Rennie,
West Hill, will continue as
auditor.
The Council was organized
with constitution and charter
granted in 1969. Net value to
growers for 1976-77 export
shipping season was
$4,121,774.10, to establish a
record year for total value.
