The awards in,each of the threeadiVisions were

Machinery Company Saturday evening. In the
LO.R.` (35-40 foot)' division, first : place and
overall trophy winner was H. Klndervater _ o
Sarnia in his boat the `Stinger",. His corrected
lime for the race was. 3h 31m Us, A. Saph, also
rom Sarnia, finished a close second in "Rowdy"
at 3h 32m 59s, followed uby_."Scarlet .Fever

In the medium length, 30 35 foot boat class,
Haden Gozzard of Bayfield finished first in his •
• "Renegade II" with a corrected timeoof 3h 45m
59s.. Second. place went to Bob Wilson of Grand
Bend in a time of 3h 47m 19s in "Ceildh", and
another Grand Bend boat, "Goldilocks", skip- '
pered by Peter Butler took third spot in 3h 49m'

In the 22 to 29 foot, Midget Ocean Racing Class
division, young Mike Gozzard in an Abbott 22
sailed a great race to take top spot over Fred
Locke and his boat "Katy" from Sarnia. Third
place in this division went to' Nelson Gatehouse in
"Nelson's Blood". A Goderich boat, "Satin
Doll", skippered by Ken Dawson made the best
showing of all the local boats by placinga close
fourth in this division.
The Goderich sail club will be represented in
the Canadian Olympic Racing at Kingston
(CORK) this weekend when George Penfold and
his crew, Mike Jeffrey join some 50 other
Fireball sailors from across Canada. We all wish
you the best, George and Mike.
