Mark ruby anniversary
On Saturday, April 16, the
family of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Horton of 156 St. David Street
entertained relatives at the
Sunset Golf and Sports Centre
in honor of their parents' 40th
wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Horton were
married on April 17, 1937,,, in
the Nile United Church
manse.
After their marriage, Mr.
and Mrs. Horton moved to
Listowel where Mr. Horton
apprenticed as a welder.
They returned to Goderich in
1943. Mr. Horton has been
employed by Dominion Road
Machinery Company ever
since.
The couple have three
children, Mrs. Bob. (Donna)
Broadfoot of Brucefield and
Everett
and Rdnald, both of
Goderich. They have nine
grandchildren.
The family and guests
enjoyed a bountiful supper at
which Sandy Broadfoot, the
oldest grandson, offered
blessings and best wishes.
During the evening the
couple received " many
beautiful gifts. An evening of
cards and conversation
completed the occasion.
