In a candlelight ceremony
at St. Paul's Anglican Church
on January 21, 1977, Debbie
Daer ad Dale Jones were
united in marriage. Reverend
Sharpies officiated the double
riog ceremony and organist
was Cathy Potter.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, a-nd Mrs, Joseph Daer,
Clintod. and the groom is the
son, of Mr. and Mrs, Doug
Jones, Brucefield.
For her wedding, tlfe bride
chose a jersey saw peau snow'
white gown featured by a
high Mandarin neckline and
long full bishop sleeves, and
• trimmed in front .of bodice,
and across the empire waist
with appliques of Belgium
lace. It had an empire
w-tistline with a flowing skirt
and a long cathedral train On
the neckline down the front of
the dress and around 'the train
were two layers of tiny
daisies imported from
France. Her headdress, a
Juliet Caplet, trimmed with
matching daisies and lace,
was held with a two-tier pure
silk illusion veil. All edges of
tiers were trimmed with tiny
matching daisies. She also
wore an opal necklace, a gift
from the groom and she
carried a bouquet of red

sweetheart roses with daisies
and fern throughout,
Matron of honor was
Sharon Elliot, Port AVM
who was dressed in a royal
blue, empire -waisted gown,
with a V -neckline and long
matching sheer sleeves. She
carried a nosegay of white
daisies and fern centered
with a red sweetheart rose
with trailing white satin
streamers.
The groom and his at-
tendants were dressed in
Royal Blue with the groom
wearing a red sweetheart
rose to match ,his bride's
bouquet.

Stanley cousin of the groom
and Perry Der, bre‘her of
the bride,
• The wedding reception was
held at the White Carnation,
Holmesville, with the bride's
mother wearing a long mint
green dress and a corsage of
white carnations trimmed
with pink and fern
throughout. The groom's
mother wore a long rust dress
with a jacket and a corsage of
yellow carnations and fern.
The couple are residing in
Brucefield following a
honeymoon trip to Florida'.
