LETTER
Saturday morning I
received a letter in the mail
enclosing two small stems of
Pussy Willows picked
February 19 in Alberta by
Phyllis Steffler. Many know
Clem and Phyllis Steffier and
their children who- ask to be
• 'remembered to their friends
here.
I will mention some of'the
'
connts of the letter. Mrs.
Sterner works in the nearby
hospital and on her way home
February 19 she picked a
bouquet of pussy -willows and
thought, with the Ontario
winter, people here would
welcome a sign of spring.
The Stefflers have had one
fall ofsnow since Christmas
and it has been quite mild
generally all winter with
temps the last two weeks
daytime above -OC with 10
degrees C. for the next day.
They have had only two cold
spells of -40 deg. C and Clem
