Debra Lyn MacAdam and Phillip Raymond Abbott
•were tallied in marriage, at 4:30 o'cluck, Saturday;
January -8 -at Victoria St. 'United 'Church, Goderich. The
Rey. John D.M. Wood condiroted the dodble-ring
ceremony. Arrangements of_pink gladioli and white
• divinity- mums in white wicker standards provided the
setting.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.. and Mrs. Donald Bert
MacAdam. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Essexi.iiffeWoderich.
The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a floor
length, long sleeved gown of white quiana jersey. Her
gown had an Empire shirred bodice, high collar and
chapel train trimmed with. tiny daisies. Her shoulder -
length French -illusion veil fell from -a -Juliet cap of tiny
• daisies and seed pearls. Her cascading bouquet com-
bined pink miniature carnations and red sweetheart
• roses.. She wore a silver necklace, her gift from the
• groom. •
Maid of - honor was Miss Tammy McAstocker, of
Goderich, who wore a floor -length turquoise polyester
two-piece gown. Her bouquet was a Symphony design,
•-"combining white divinity MUMS, variegated miniature
carnations with turquoise. baby's breath. She wore a
silverbracelet, a gift from the bride and grdont.
Groomsman was Paul Swarthout, of Goderich. The
men of the'wedding party were similarly attired in royal
blue Windsor tuxedos with ruffled shirts. Steven Abbott,
brother. of ,the groom, andIan MacAdam, brother of the
bride, were u.shers.
The wedding music, °consisting of Oh Perfect Love,
We've Only Just Begun and Amazing Grace was
provided byerganistylks. J. Snyder of Goderich.
Following ,the cerMtiony, a dinner and reception were
held' at Saltford Valley Hall. Brandy snifters with votive
candles, surrounded. 'by pink roses and three -tiered
wedding cake, provided the table decorations. Ian
MacAdam, brother of the .bricle, acted as master of
ceremonies.
Receiving the guests the bride's mother wore a long
gown of peach polyester jersey-- with matching long
sleeved chanel jacket. The groom's mother chose. a king
sleeved turquoise lurex floor -length gown. Both wore
corsages of whiteroses.
The bride wore a beige and -brown multistripe two-
piece suit with a corsage of orange miniature carnations
for travelling. Mr. and Mrs. Abbett honeymooned in „I
Kitchener end Torontn. '
They will reside in their mobile home, 17 Iroquois 4
Lane, Meneset Park, RR 5, Goderich.
