pointing • out an obvious ad-
vantage.
One of the reasons that
discourages .the Reeve from
committing Hullett to an area
board is Clinton's -recreation
deficit, which he believed to
total approximately $60,000.
"A deficit like that is just
ridiculous. We haven't got it
and we don't want it," Jewitt
said.
When •contacted by the
News -Record, secretary
Marie Jefferson explained
that the Recreation com-
mittee didnot have a deficit
last year.

clubs face-off at 8:30 p.m. at
the Community. Centre

Last Friday • night • in
Clinton, the Harriston club
fought back from a 6-2 deficit
to score a 9-6 overtime vic-
tory over the Colts.
