Flyers �dge Dublin hammered by Milverton

Bantams pulled a close game
out of the hat in Seaforth
Sunday night winning 5-4 over
Dublin and then were trim-
med Monday night by
Milverton 8-1 in Milverton. •
The Vlyers fought back
from a 2-0 first period deficit
to tie Dublin and eventually
ge„ up one in the second
period. Dublin, grabbed two
goals at the four and seven
minute mark of the opening
period' and took their lead to
the. dressing room. Bill and
Mike Flanagan each scored
for Dublin.
Goderich came out in the
second period and were
loaded for bear. Alan Bakker
turned Jim Fritzley's pass
into a goal • with just 20
seconds gone in the period .to
cut Dublin's lead in half
• Exactly four minutes later
Larry Gaynor scooped up a
• loose puck and tied the -game
• on an unassisted goal. Both
squads squared off in a tight,
• checking game and with two
minutes left in the •period
Robert Jeffrey put the Flyers
in front with 'an unassisted
• goal.
In •a rough third ,period
marred •by six penalties •to
Goderich and three to Dublin
both squads notched two
• goals, Dublin's second one
• coming with just a minute left

seconds left in the opening
