Oil Mart grabs
from Augie's
The Amazing Oil Mart
doubled Augie's Dogies
Monday night in men's
bowling and moved to almost
a full game over the second
place Dogies. Al Sanders
rolled a 284 single for the Oil.
Mart and turned it into an.82I
triple to lead his club to five
points. The Dogies used a
John Willis 313 single and 729
triple to two' points, enough to
kee them up on third place
F ench Dry Cleaners.
The Cleaners stayed in
contentionwith a five point
sweep over the dull Signal
Stars. Carson Milley had a 345
single and 814 triple and
Kevin Rurrug chipped in with
an 805 triple to boost the
Cleaners- to five. The points
run their season total to 49,
two off second. The Stars
dwindled to a last place tie
with the B.D.'s with 31 points.
George Vanderburg was the
lone bright spot for the Stars
with his 270 single and 691
triple.
The Hopefuls swept the
Recalls and grabbed fourth
place with a 44 point season
first
bogies
total. John Empson and .Gene
Ryan led their. club to the
seven. points, Empson with a
313 single. and 864 triple and
Ryan with a 319 single and 787
triple. Charles Williams led
the sixth, place Hopefuls with
a 261 single and 714 triple. The
Recalls are tied for sixth with
the Tail Ends at 40 points.
Huromic Metals •'were
shutout by the last place
B.D.'s but hung on to fifth
place by 'one -Paint. Dennis
Vanderburg had a 291 single
and Don Johnston a 723 triple
to help with the upset. Jerry

Rivett bowled a 28T single and,
782 triple but the effort was in
vain. Huromic has 41 points
and the B.D.'s 31.
Roy's Boys moved out of
the basement finally with a
seven point sweep of the Tail
Ends. Heinz Sartori and Ross
Patterson led the Boys,,
Sartori with a 272 single and
Patterson a 677 triple. The
Boys are in eighth spot, with
35 points. The Tail Ends had a
strong evening from Lynne
Hodges who grabbed a 245
single and 650 triple.
