The GDCI senior Vikings
basketball team continued to
show why coach Phil Bugler.
is optimistic about the team's
prospects for this season: The
.Vikings grabbed an exciting
62-56 mictory over Owen
Sound Collegiate -Vocational
School here last Friday
evening.
The game was' another in
the: ,series of Friday night
exhibition games. arranged
by the Vikings. This Fridty,
the strong .Sarnia- Central
Centaurs ,will provide the
opposition.
Thetriple-header begins
with a midget game at 5:30
followed by the junior game,
and concluded by the senior
tilt approximately 8 p.m. All
games will: be in the West
Gymnasium. .
Iain Lambert led the Viking
scoring with 16 points against
Owen Sound. Hot shooting

chell in their first league
game today and then will
meet Sarnia Central here in
the opening game of . an
exhibition triple header
beginning at 5:30 tomorrow
(Friday) evening.
