tied the game when Maurice
Beirnes slipped the puck past
Scott Wilson. with 6:50 left to

Both squads played fast
and loose for the remainder of
the game taking only three
penalties each. Goderich was
tagged with two roughing
calls and an interference and
Monkton an interference, a

Huron last year.

Welsh while his teammates
could only manage two goals.
Dean Symons led Port Elgin
with three goals, Rick Schell

went to Jim. McKinnon, Al
Blair, Dan Fryday and Dave

with two goals each while
