Press Reporter - Sharon Pollock. The girls discussed their record books and club name. The girls made Pan- fry cookies. Meeting closed with the Creed. At their second meeting, Monday .September. 27 Joyce Dougherty opened the meeting with the Pledge. and ,also read the minutes of last meeting. Everyone gave a name for the Club and they`, decided on the. name "Bran Babies The girls examined kernels of wheat and corn and discussed the products made from these kernels. Patti Rising made porridge from Vita -B and most of the girls enjoyed it. The ".girls- ' then; worked on the Dog Wood and"' - Onion Rice recipes and found these products very ap- petizing. Twenty-four were 'en- tertained and you can well imagine Softball was the Theme for 'the evening conversation. • It was a splendid' gesture and the •coaches are looking forward ,to an even better showing in Softball in. 1977.
