At their second meeting,
Monday .September. 27 Joyce
Dougherty opened the
meeting with the Pledge. and

meeting. Everyone gave a
name for the Club and they`,
decided on the. name "Bran
Babies The girls examined
kernels of wheat and corn and
discussed the products made
from these kernels. Patti
Rising made porridge from
Vita -B and most of the girls
enjoyed it. The ".girls- ' then;
worked on the Dog Wood and"' -
Onion Rice recipes and found
these products very ap-

Monday the preparation of a
resolution to the Ministry of
Educatiorp, pointing. out the
deficiencies ' in - the present

representatives On the board.

rural area around Wingham
gained one. This evened up
the representation from each
county, giving Huron and
Perth " each seven board
members.

members from Stratford,
Howard Shantz said, "One -of

have a leg tostand on to
appeal the redistribution this
year; !but wanted the'. brief,

Softball is over for another .
year in Colborne" Township

coaches and their wives were
entertained:at a dinner party
at the Candlelight Restaurant
Friday evening September
17. Twenty-four were 'en-
tertained and you can well
imagine Softball was the
Theme for 'the evening
conversation. • It was a
splendid' gesture and the
•coaches are looking forward
,to an even better showing in
Softball in. 1977.
