In• the afternoon, a tea was held at .the home of ' Mrs.. - Margaret Bowra when the President ' was. guest- of : _ _,- - Tionour. . At six o'clock the officers: members, and guests sat down to a delicious turkey dinner served by the ladies of St. George's • Anglican .•Church ' The.meeting was held Iater in the Lodge Rdorns. The members of, Brussels Lodge had been invited -"to .attend, Goderich came second. A letter was read from the Ontario Research Committee asking for a, donation. Twenty-five dollars • was o.ted. It was decided to hold a dessert card party in the Legion Hall May •12.: It .was also decided to sell tickets on. the quilt . made by the Noble, Grand and het helpers,_;A` committee was appointed. Her project this year is to raise funds for a new kitchen in. the Barrie Horne for.senior citizens. • The District Deputy President, Mrs. Harnack, spoke briefly. The. •• pianist: ' Mrs. Etta Snider played throughout the evening, and the soloist was Mrs. Kaittin•g., • At the close of the meeting; a dainty lunch .was served by, the .Comrnittee convened by Mrs. Dorothy Barker..
