RAILWAY CROSSINGS • Colborne Township Council t met -in Committee on Tuesday, February 17 at the Sharp's Pit C.P.R. railway 'crossing •between ••Lots 5 and 6 Con 5 ED, Colborne Town- truck shimplough. - Mrr. and Mrs. •Heinz. Hoernig, Benmiller questioned why "their Township road' -: not being ploughed, Mr. Good said that it would be ploughed, the following morning. Items of business included insurance for a --damaged storm door at the Township Hall; a bank loan note; -a resolution .appointing Reeve Douglas McNeil ' voting representative for Colborne. • • property. Gary Davidson stressed the. desires and 'demands of a con- centrated cottage -develop- ment in a farming area and recommended deferring a. decisionuntil Colborne Township Secondary Plan is approved. Ian Deslauriers considered the -property to be in the Maitland River, flood plain and he indicated that the M.V.C.A. was ° interested in. purchasing flood plain property.
