ity present at last week's annual
meeting in Wroxeter voted unani-
mously for the acceptance of the
proposed territorial expansion.
The Authority's motion must be
approved by the Ministry of Na-
tural Resources before it,can'' be
implemented.
Administration ' expenditures
were. held within budget .esti-
mates:'A surplus of $6,739 from:
the rental operations of. Authority
vehicles; capital expenditures
for 1975 fell short of. the budget
The Maitland Valley: Conser=.
vation Authority,'.. voted last
• Wednesday 'to enlarge their. pre-
sent jurisdiction by more than -400
square miles.
The motion; passed by a five -to -
two rhajority vote; was all the
authority needed to.acquire 'an
additional' 400 square miles in'
Northern Huron and Bruce Coun--
ties. The expansion ay..ill • also in-
crease the Authority's five miles
' of Lake'Huron'shoreline by .an-
