Shoemaker and Bergsma had singles. The
hero for Zilliax had to be Wayne Smith when
he slipped the puck into the net with three
seconds left in the game to earn the tie. Jim
Flemming and Graham Hamilton also had
single goals for Zilliax.
Saturday saw Murphy's keep their tour-
nament hopes alive with an embarassing
drubbing of Park House by a 7 -1 score. The
Mondays first game saw Lakeland con-
tinue their winning ways with a 7 - 6 deci-
sion over Park House. The speedster Lee
Arbour led the Lakeland attack with a hat
trick. Dave McDonald added two goals
while Wayne Campbell and Travis Lyndon
had lone markers.
The Park House Rangers were led in scor-
ing by Steve Siertsema with a goal and two
assists. Single markers were added by Hugh
Burgsma, Harold Peet, Terry Shoemaker,
Greg Beacom and Billy Rae Vanstone.
The second game saw Bob Mommersteeg
score his second goal of the game with only
eight seconds left in the game, giving Zilliax
a 5 - 4 victory over Sunset. Other markers •
for Zilliax were scored by Dan Horton, Dave
Smith and Dean Armstrong. Kevin Meriam
had 2 goals while Dan Duncan and Ken
Straghan added singles in a losing cause for
Sunset.
Sunset.came out the winner Wednesday
in a game that saw the score tied four times
before Wayne Rau scored the winner with
1:02 left in the game . Paul Kelly had three
points, for Sunset while Leroy Meriam, Dan
Duncan and Luke Gagnon had two points.
Rick Rawson, Mike Lapain and the sniper
Garry Mixlow replied with single markers
for Bedford.
Thursday saw Park House tie on the road
3 - 3 with Zilliax. Len Kolman had two points
