Studying abroad is exciting challenge
Living in a different country while study-
ing is the exciting challenge that Inter -
culture Canada is offering to youths aged
15 to 18.
Interculture Canada, a leading interna-
tional exchange organization,is looking
for teenagers who wish to continue their
secondary education abroad.
The organization offers an eleven to
• twelve month program in more than 35
countries. Departure is in winter or sum-
mer depending on the country selected.
This intercultural experience is a dream
come- true for the teenager who wishes to
acquire a certain maturity and to expand
his personal skills. "To be totally immers-
ed in the Italian way of life, the language,
the music, the architecture, the food, and
the people, has been an exciting adventure
which has positively changed me," says a
student back from Italy.

Blyth Festival presents McClure
The Blyth Festival is pleased to announce
two performances of McCLURE by Munroe
Scott at Blyth Memorial Hall on Saturday,
November 14, 1987.
The production comes from Theatre
Aquarius in Hamilton and stars Stephen
Black as Robert Baird McClure, the first
layman moderator of the United Church of
Canada. It is produced in co-operation with
United Church Television.
The play centres on Dr. McClure's 25
adventurous years in China as a surgeon -
missionary. A true story of a Canadian hero,
the, play has recently been mounted at the
1987 Guelph Spring Festival and has just
returned from 10 performances at Theatre
New Brunswick. It . has, received both .
popular and critical acclaims. A "life-size
portrait of a hero..." says the Globe and
Mail while the Guelph Daily Mercury calls
the show "superb theatre that deserves a
wide audience".

mances on November 14 are at 2:00 and 8:00
p.m. The evening show is nearly sold out but
