Stoll graduated from the Universi- ty of Western Ontario on June 9th with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Faculty of Social Science. Bruce is a teacher at Fan- shawe College in London and owns and operates Stolland Farm Market in Colborne Township. Bruce's wife, Susan.. Fincher- Stoll, also graduated from the University of Western Ontario ,on June 9th. Susan graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Laws Degree with an area on concentra- tion in taxation. While attending law school. Susan .received the Harold G. Fox Educa- tion Award, the Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt writing Prize and the Aylesworth, Thomp- son Prize. Susan graduated from Western with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1983 and both Bruce and Susan are graduates of Fan- shawe College and Goderieh District Col- legiate Institute. Susan.is articling with the law firm of Harrison, Elwood in London. Bruce's mother, Mrs. Helen Stoll and Susan's parents, Mr. Dennis and Mrs. Mary Fincher, attended the convocation. Father's Day topic for Nile UCW meeting Wilma Chariton and her group" were in charge when 49 members andguests met for the June meeting of Zlorth Street UCW. The meeting began by enjoying a delicious potluck supper. The ladies were then entertained by the Huron -Bruce Swingers, a square-dance group under the leadership of Lois and Mur- ray McGill, Wilma Charlton chose Summertime as .her theme. Win Ferris was in charge of the business portion of the meeting. The June meeting of Nile UCW was held at the home of Bessie McNee. A dessert lun- cheon was served by the hostesses, Bessie and Beth Rutledge, and then Beth read the opening poem. Myrtle Kerr was in charge of the program ° and She chose Father's Day as her topic. She read from Proverbs 22 and then explain- ed "man needs man" and '`God'mad man in His Own image". Folldwing the singing of a hymn, Ruth Freeland read the scripture. Two readings•on fathers were given by Mry- tle Kerr and a humerous reading was read by Ruth. The July meeting is to be a potluck picnic dinner at 12:30, July 9 at Harbour Park. Mary Carroll, mother of Karsten and Dalen, and wife of Paul Carroll, Seafo°rth, graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences on ,June 9, 19.87. Mary is a graduate of Goderich District Collegiate In- stittitc, and Stratford Teachers' College. She is presently a teacher on the staff of Seaforth Public School. Dungannon area wedding• Dungannon United Church was the setting of the May 16 wedding of Kevin Gordon Finnie, of Dungannon, and Valerie Denise Maize of RR 1 Dungannon. Rev.. Roberts officiated at the ceremony. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Maize of RR 1, Dungannon. Maid of honour was Denise Aubut, friend of the bride, of Kingston. .Bridesmaids were Sandra Michele Hodges, daughter of Teresa Hodges of Goderich and Arnold Hodges of RR2 Goderich and Kent Bean, son of Donald. Bean RR5 Goderich, were married at St. George's Church on June 6th. Maid of Honour was 'Nancy Coonon, of London, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Sharon Stephens of RR6 Huron Haven, friend of the bride. Plower girls were Haley Lyons of Goderich, friend of bride, Christine Coonan of London, niece of bride. Best man was Ed Fisher of RR2 Clinton, friend of groom. Ushers were Terry Bean •of RR2 Goderich, cousin of groom, Richard Bowman, of Palmerston, nephew of bride. Best man was Tony Bokkers, friend of the groom, of Dungan- non. Ushers were Jim Finnie, brother of the groom, of Goderich; Paul Mangon, friend of the groom, of Grande Prairie, Alberta; Bob Finnie, brother of the groom, of Milverton; John Gras, friend of the groom, of Grande Prairie, Alberta; junior usher Bruce Maize, nephew of the bride, of Londesboro; and ringbearer Steven Stewart, nephew of the bride, of Clinton. Following the reception at Lucknow-Com- munity Centre and q trip to Vancouver, B.C., the couple has taken up residence in Dungannon.
