Mold Christmas concert

The Auburn Knox United Church Sunday
School concert was held on Dec. 20., It in-
cluded presentations' from all classes.
The Nursery, Pre-school, Kuidergarten
and Grade 1-2 classes did a nativity scene,
while the older classes sang. The Grade 1-2
class also did a song and a verse and some:
piano playing. Grade 3 did a shadow play
called "The Friendly Beast," Grade 4 did
the play "The Stocking's Christmas". The'
Grade 5-6 class did a play named "The Lost' ..,.

The Maple Leaf Chapter of the LODE held
its Christmas Party at the Bedford Hotel'
with Nell Couts opening the dinner with
grace.•
• After dinner; Regent Mrs. Roddy, held a
short meeting; and honored. Mrs. Coats with „•

donation for the light displayin the Square;,: •
After the meeting, Mrs . Lee McCalltun led
• in games and carol singing. The ladies were
treated to a surprise .visit by Santa .who
handed out gifts before the evening ended.
