CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
One cold winter day when I was sitting in
front of the fire place warming my toes a
strange figure appeared. It said, "Go up to
your attic. Move the big trunk and lift up the
door". I didn't believe what I was hearing
but I did as I was told. I went up the old
creaking steps slowly. When I came to the
door I was a little bit scared but I opened the
door. I saw the big trunk. I went over to it. I
moved the trunk. It was heavy. Then I saw
it. It was a door like the figure had said. I
tried go get it open but it wouldn't open. The
figure appeared again. This time it said,
"Blow on the door 3 times then clap your
hands once." Then he was gone.I did as I
was told. And almost like magic it flew open
and there was a little coper box. I reached in
and got it open. In the box there was 80 1
thousand dollar bills. "What am I going to
do with all this money?" I said. "I will buy
Christmas present for my family." I said.
Luckily I was going Christmas shopping
that day.
For Tina my sister-in-law I bought a red
corvette. For Tim my brother I bought him
a new house. For Tom I bought him a new
house too. For his wife Lisa I bought a.
nursery set for her new baby. For Ted my
other brought him a stario and a v.c.r. For
mom and dad I bought them two round way
tickets to Ireland. That took care of all my
money.

A GREAT CHRISTMAS
"What do you want for Christmas? my
mother asked me. Would you like to have a
horse? A robot? What? You should go and
make a list." "Do I have to mom?" I asked.
"Of course, now go upstairs and make a
list. I want it ready by lunchtime. Now go."4•
My mother was always like that. Every
Christmas she made my sister and I make a
list. I started to say that I wanted to go out-
side but I I knew what she would say. The
same as usual, NO, NO, NO, "O.K." I said
as I sulked into my room. I wondered what I
would write. This is what the list looked
like;
Dear Santa:
I am fine. This is what I want for
Christmas";
1. horse
2. robot
3. tapes
4. T.V.
5. candy
6. markers, pens, pencils
he would make a snow -fort. He started roll-
ing a big boulder when all of a sudden' 50
dollarbills started coming up from the
boulders. He rolled boulders for a more
hours, and by that time he had 1,000 50
dollarbills!
The little boy thought he would go to the
store and buy his family the best present in
the world. He bought his family the biggest

After lunch my mother told us that we
could go. outside. "Why don't we build a
snow -fort?" my sister asked me. "Oh, Oh" I
answered feeling happier now because I was
outside. When we were all done except for
one more snowball my sister decided to go
inside. "Boy, is she wierd" I said. As I
started rolling my snowball my dog came
out. "Oh no" I yelled, "he'll wreck my
snowball". And he did too. I decided to go in-
side and finish our snowfort when there is
more snow.
A couple weeks later it went from
November to December and only a couple
weeks until Christmas. I didn't have a pre-
sent for my parents or my sister. This was
the worst Christmas ever. I decided to go
outside and finish our snowfort. As I was
rolling the last snowball I found some
money. It wasn' jus money, it was five
hundred dol `' I[u r led. "Why
are you yelling.l,. my mom as ed. "I...oh
nothing mom, I just found something." Boy
was I glad I didn't tell her about the money.
Now I can buy them all a present. More
luck. We went shopping and my whole fami-
ly wanted a horse.
It was Christmas Day and I got
everything on my list but the horse. I told
them to look out the window, when they did
they thanked me and said that it was the
best present ever. I said it was the best
Christmas ever.

IT ALL HAPPENED
IN ONE NIGHT
It was Christmas eve night, Nothing was
making a sound. It was five minutes to eight
o'clock. I was all alone in my room when
suddenly I heard someone calling softly,
"Jeremy, Jeremy, come here," I looked out
my window and there was Santa and all his
riendeer. He told me to ,jump in. So I did. It
was a cold ride but I handled it.
When we got there Santa said "You'll be
working with the elves because one got sick.
hom tfh 'though — 410h e'
When we were finished loading the sleigh,
Santa told three elves and I to hop on while
the others harnessed, the riendeer to the
sleigh. The riendeer were fast. On the way
there I didn't notice that the elves had made
something for my family.
Just as I was about to get out of the
sleight Santa asked me if I'de like
something since I helped him. 1 said,
"Alright" and the elves put the present in
our driveway. The card said to. Leslie
Lawerance and family Love Jeremy. I
snuck up into my room while Santa put the
other gifts under the tree. When I woke up I
saw my parents "driving around. In thier
present. It all happened in one night.
