Roman Catholic Separate School Board at a
meeting on November 24. decided to reverse
its decision made at the last board meeting,
to turn down starting a Beginners Class at

The proposal for the Beginners Class had
been put forward by Margaret Medve, prin-
cipal of Precious Blood School, where she

for and seven -opposed.
However, at the most recent board
meeting the trustees voted to have the
Beginners Class referred to the Board Ac-
commodation Review Committee for fur-
ther study.'

Mary Baker, a teacher for 20 years, present-
ly . at St. Joseph's School, Clinton. The
resignation will be effective at the end of
December, 1986.
At the meeting the suggestion was
brought. up that the "Separate" in the

Eckert, Director of Education for the board,
said the name is a corporate name and the
board can't change it as it must be used on
all legal documents. Following a discussion
Eckert, said he would investigate the
possibility of dropping the "Separate" if it
