Wetaskiwin, Alta., and Mrs, Coward,
Kootenay, B.C., guilty of murder,
have been commuted to ten years'
imprisonment and life imprisonment,

The Marquis of Abergavenny, a
great friend of Lord Beaconsfield
during that statesman's life, died
Saturday at Eridge Castle, Sussex.
He was nearly 90 years old, having
been born September 16, 1826.
