MARCH '9 - 13, 1987
This program is designed to give children 5 - 12 years of age 5 exciting days
during the March Break. Children will have an opportunity to participate in
such activities as: games, crafts, hikes, movies, swimming and a special
performance by a professional performing artist.
More information will follow through the schools in February, 1987.

The Goderich Recreation Department in cooperation with Robertson Memorial Public
School, St. Mary's Separate School and Victoria Public School is once again
sponsoring a Children's Series of Shows entitled:
CHILDREN'S ,FALL FESTIVAL
Three different performing artists have been booked to perform throughout the
Fall atour three local schools.
Thursday, October 9, 1986, 2:00 p.m. - Robertson Memorial Public School
SANDRA BEECH (for children in JK to Grade 3)
Sixty minutes of boundless energy is packed into this dynamo's concert. TV and
recording artist, 1982 Juno. Award winner for outstanding children's album, 'Sandra
sings, plays harp and enlists children in an orchestra of homemade instruments for
the grand finale.

KIM & JERRY BRODEY - "Family Pie" (for children in Grades 4 - 6)
It's hats -off, hats -on
.superheroes to friends,

combination of Jerry's
theatrics as Kim and Jerry change their, focus from TV and
family and social concerns - each new topper brings a
life. This fun -filled, participatory show is a dynamic
snappy music and Kim's zany mime.

CAROUSEL PLAYERS - "Running the Gauntlet" by Duncan McGregor (for children in
Grades 7 & 8)
The last international war fought on Canadian soil was the War of 1812. Its effects
are brought to life through dramatic action, music and hutffibur in this 1985
Chalmers award winning play. Presenting a faithful chronicle of the events,
Carousel downplays history's "stars" to 'concentrate on ordinary folk with whom
students can easily identify.
CHILDREN IN ALL THREE TOWN SCHOOLS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM GEARED TO
THEIR GRADE LEVEL FOR THE LOW PRICE OF $1.00. THESE PROGRAMS ARE ALL EDUCATIONAL
AS WELL AS ENTERTAINING AND WILL BE A BENEFIT TO ALL CHILDREN. MORE INFORMATION
WILL FOLLOW THROUGH THE SCHOOLS.
