(Lancaster) scholarships.
It was reported that plans are now com-
pleted for Legion Week at Branch 109 and
this year includes a Fashion Show on Mon-
day, Sept. 22 at 2 and 8 p.m., a noon lun-

A motion was passed to donate $2.00 to the
Pee Wee basebah team.
A motion from the finance committee to
increase the annual dues of $25 by the
amount of $5.00 was defeated after con-
siderable discussion.
A motion to [Hove the dart boards in the
games room to the east wall as a safety
precaution due to the traffic from the new
entrance was approved.

The Branch has supplied photos and infor-
mation on the military side of our eornmuni-
ty to Barry Penhale who is producing a
video tape on the historical and cultural
aspects of life in Goderich. This video will be
seen on television at a later date.
The new entrance has to be painted and
the roof over the kitchen, garage and veran-
dah needs to be re -tarred.
Gifts, cards, • and/or visitations were
to 16 comrades. The branch now has a self-
propelled wheelchair which is available to
any member in need of this type of vehicle.
The branch wishes 'to thank all those who
donated books and puzzles for the use of
those in hospital.

events will start in November. Watch the
sports bulletin board for information.
Executive members of the branch and the
auxiliary are reminded to wear Legion
dress for the next executive meeting which
