highest possible calibre to assist in the
development of their musical talents.
The choir began in September in 1985 and
plans to travel to Europe in 1987 to sing in
the international choral competition in the
Netherlands.

Goderich Township is angry
atosero -d rezoningof land
p p
GODERICH TWP - A change being propos-
ed by the Town of Goderich to make some of
their industrial zoned land into highway
commercial has raised the ire of the
Goderich Township Council.
The reason for their anger is explained in
a motion they passed in their meeting of
September 1. The motion states, "That the
township protest this apparent contradic-
tion of statements - since 'the town was so
desperately in heed of more industrial land
that the township co-operated and assisted
them in annexing some 40 acres of township
land for industrial purposes - and now the
town intends to remove a section from in-
dustrial to highway commercial."
An application for rezoning was submitted
to council from James Knight. The change
is to allow less set back on his side yard than
the zoning allows. Council accepted the ap-
plication and referred it to the County Plan-
