The trophy in question , is not a memorial award and, is simply the Marion Mills Trophy. Legion auxiliary plans yard sale On April 8, Zone Commander, Mary Hahn was present for the monthly meeting of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. President Laura McLarty called the meeting to order. Aileen Tigert's application for membership was approved. A rummage and bake sale in conjunction with the Branch's yard sale for April. 26 is being planned. Donations were made to G.D.C.I. for a student to attend the Terry Fox Youth Centre for one week as well as ' the District Multiple ,Sclerosis Society. April will be a very busy month as the ladies are catering to several bowling ban- quets as well as other actiirities. An auxilary team gained second place at district darts in Galt on April 5 and now ad- vance to provincial level in Cornwall, June 28. Best of luck ladies! The meeting was opened by vice- president Diane Bradshaw. The minutes were read by secretary Laurie Littlechild. The treasurer's report of $28.26 was given by Julie Baker. Before members started reading in their books, they were to prepare any ostions ns they had on dating, asking guys ri pays for what and when it's appropriate, , etc. They then •started reading and discovered most of their questionswere answered in the book. r• The home activities are: 1. to prepare their books for the leader by April 16; and 2. to prepare for .the Achievement Program, which is to be held on April 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Central Huron Secondary School.
