In Geography, at Robertson Public
' School, the Grade 4s are studying China.
They had a chance to taste different kinds of
food dishes which were made by Mrs.
Nguyen.
Also in Geography, each Grade 8 class
separately formed maps of Africa,
Australia and South America. All. of the
classes received a mark of 82 percent.

my troth and dad and two brothers, Jeremy
and Bradly.
On Feb. 10, it was Kindergarten registra-
tion at the school. Future 'students " of
Robertson are wished good luck.
It is that time of year most kids dread.
Yes, it's time for speeches again. Students
from Grade 4 to 8 are asked to write and say
a speech and the best ones can gore -4 to the
Legion and try for pries.
The instrumental classes received $300
from the Music Boosters to go towards the
program in some way and to lower rental
prices of instruments.
Mona Mulhern came to the school from
Feb. 4 to 6. In Grades 4 - 6, students learned
how to make art work using the theme of
monsters dragons and grumpies.
The Grade 7 and 8 will be bussed back
from Victoria School for the rest of the
school year. If you wish to ride your bike on
those days you can either lock it up at Vic-
toria and come back during lunch hour and
pick it up then or ride it to Robertson and
walk to Victoria.
Coming Events
Red Day - on Feb. 14 the students at
Robertson were asked to wear red clothing.
Hat Day - on Feb. 27 students are asked to
wear a hat.
Coffee Time was on Thursday Feb. 20 at 10
a.m. This was a time for parents to come'
into the school to talk with Mr. MacLennan
and have coffee or tea;
Door Decorating Contest - This was a con-
test for all • grades to decorate the doors of
e?ch class foritalentine's Day.
