their annual Snow Flake Bazaar on
Thursday, November 1 from 11:30 a.m. to

NOVEMBER 3 - VOLUNTEER SEMINAR
The Goderich Recreation Department is
sponsoring a Volunteer Seminar with guest
speaker Karen Ross of the Central
Volunteer Bureau of London on Saturday,
November 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. The
seminar is being held at the Recreation Of-
fice, 166 McDonald Street. Topics include:
How to Recruit Volunteers, How to Make
Use,of Volunteers, etc. Everyone welcome
to this FREE seminar and please pre -

NOVEMBER 3 - LONDON SYMPHON
ORCHESTRA
The Rotary Club of Goderich is sponsoring
the London Symphony Orchestra on Satur-
day, November 3 at 8:15 p.m. at North
Street United Church. Everyone Welcome!
NOVEMBER 3 - CANADIAN FORESTERS
DANCE
The Canadian, Foresters Dance will be held
on Saturday, November 3 at the Goderich
Township Community Centre. Music by
"Free Wheeling". Dancing is from 9 p.m. to
1 a.m. $5 per person with proceeds to Cancer
Research and Community Work.
NOVEMBER 3 - HOLLY BERRY
BAZAAR & LUNCHEON
The Holly Berry Bazaar & Luncheon will be
held on Saturday, November 3 from 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Homebaking, candy, gourmet food,
country kitchen; hand-crafted Christmas
gifts and decorations, toys, white elephant
table, etc. Delicious lunch to be held at St.
George's Parish Hall, Nelson Street.
NOVEMBER 3 - MAITLAND MANOR
RESIDENTS ANNUAL TEA & BAZAAR
Everyone welcome to attend the Maitland
Manor Tea and Bazaar on Saturday,
November 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Maitland
Manor, Bennett Street. Bake table, crafts,
ceramics, white elephant table and raffle
draw. Tickets for the raffle draw on a quilt

Learn through the demonstration of the
various techniques involved - wokking or
stir -frying, steaming, deep fat frying, the
making of soups and even fortune cookies,
plus much more. Four two ur classes

The Dungannon Senior Citizens will be
holding a Euchre Card Party every Wednes-
day night until December 5 at 8 p.m. at the
Dungannon Senior Citizens Centre. Admis-

The Nile U.C. W. is holding a Euchre Party
on November 8 at the Nile United Church at

a Stress Control Workshop on Thursday.

books, baby items, small appliances and a
craft table, home baking and a lunch

This Bazaar will .be held at the St. Augustine
Church Hall on Saturday, November 10.

NOVEMBER 17 - SKATE-A-THON
The Goderich Skate-A-Thon will be held on
Saturday, November 17 at the Goderich
Arena for 10 hours beginning at 9. a.m. This
event is a fundraising project for Minor
Hockey, Figure Skating and Ringette.
Everyone is welcome to participate and
pledge forms will be available from the Ex-
ecutive of each group as well as from the
Goderich Recreation Department. Please
show your support by participating or
through sponsoring a participant.

COMMUNITY NEW BOOK SALE
The Goderich Figure Skating is holding a
New Book Sale on Friday, November 23
from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday,
November 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the
Suncoast Mall. Over 2,000 new books will be
offered for sale at 25 percent to 75 percent
off retail price. Books will include hobby,
fiction, non-fiction, sports, novels,

Entry forms for the Santa Claus Parade are

Department. This year's theme is
"Christmas at the Movies". Trophies will be

categories: Non -Commercial, Commercial,
Youth Group, School and Individual. For

CROSS COUNTRY SKI BROCHURES
For Goderich and district are now available,
free of charge! This is an informative
brochure to fourteen ski trails in this area.
