(photo by Patrick Raftis ) Meeting will provide information on French education in Ontario The subject of French education is one of the ,most salient issues facing students, , parents, educators and administrators to- day. 'With the implementation of core French programs and the prospect of the implemen- tation of immersion programs, parents are looking for, help and inforamtion to make responsible decisions about their child's education. A genuine concern andk;nterest in the sub- ject of French education has led to the for- mation of a Huron Chapter of Canadian Parents for French (CPF). CPF is a net- work of parents, and associations. across Canada devoted to promoting French as a second language. Organizers of the local chapter say they will provide interested parents with access to the latest research, information and trends in core and immersion programs. But more than just an information service for parents, CPF will endeavor to arrange activities that expand and enricheexisting programs. /9ALLING ALL MERCHANTS! • • IN GODS RICH • Get.
