Beange wins tournament
It's now getting close to the end of the golf McDougall; second flight, low net was

The skin gang had their wind-up party on
Saturday. The top six winners of the season
were Ticker Mero, Art Burt, Tony Bedard,
Laurie Colquhoun, Ralph Kingswell and Al
MacDonald.
Two skin guys got a hole -in -one this
season. They were Pete Teichert and Tieker
Mero on hole number two.
The skin gang would like to thank the
Sunset Golf Club, Ernie's Roadhouse and
Murphy's Landing for their great donations.
Maitland Golf
Couples attend tourney
Thirty-nine men participated in Men's
Night at the Maitland Golf and Country Club
last week. Winners were: first -Ken Hall,
second -Bill Hanly, • third -Jack Hoffineyer
and fourth -Del Bedard. Other winners were
Guy Kelly, Jack Gould, Dave Cornish and
Ross Patterson.
Ladies' Night winners on August 28 were:
first flight, first low gross -Maxine Martin
and first low net-Ardith Brissette; second
flight, first low gross -Sally MacEwan, first
low net -Jean Knight and second low net -Bev
Jeffrey, putts -Jean Hanly; and third flight,
first low gross -Vern Frith, first low net -
Mary Lapaine and putts -Bud Lumby.
Ten couples played golf on august 31. Win-
ners were: first -Joan McDougall and Ed
Brissette; second -Marilyn Cornish and Rob
Jeffrey; and third -Bev Jeffrey and John
Kane. All enjoyed a pot luck supper at
Hanly's cottage after golf.
Two couples attended the Owen Sound
Couples' Tournament. They were Fred and
Edna Loker and Bob and Joan McDougall.
The McDougalls won the first•low gross in
the second flight.
