Marilyn E. Fry, daughter of Mrs. Pearl E.
Delo and the late F. Harrison Delo of Toron-
to,, was married to R. Blake Smith, son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. Reid Smith of Winona, at
Knox Presbyterian Church, Goderich on
August 4 at 1 p.m. The Reverend G.L. Royal
officiated. Matron of honor was Mrs.
Marilyn Smith, sister-in-law of the groom
and the best man was Roger Smith, brother
of the groom, both from Winona. Special
music was provided by Lorne Dotterer. The
groom also played a special piece for family
and friends who attended, as a thank you for
their help" and support. The Don McMillan
family, very special friends of the bride and
groom, provided musk as well. Following
the wedding, a reception was held at the
home of the bride and groom in Goderich.
Guests travelled to the wedding and recep-
tion from Toronto, Kincardine, Winona and
Goderich.

Goderich man dies in hospital at age 69
GEORGE EUGENE BEDARD
George Eugene Bedard of Goderich died
in Alexandra Marine and General Hospital
on Sunday, September 2 at the age of 69.
He was born in Zurich on February 3, 1915
to Charles and Marie (Brisson) Bedard.
He was a member of St. Peter's Roman
Catholic Church, Goderich and the Knights
of Columbus Fr. Nagle Council no. 5420.
The late Mr. Bedard was married on
October 24, 1959 in St. Boniface Roman
Catholic Church, Zurich.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Olivia' Marie Masse; two step -daughters,
Mrs. Wilfred (Martha) Overholt of Zurich
and Mrs. Donald (Cecelia) Denomme of
Goderich; six brothers and sisters, Stance
Bedard of Windsor, Sister Marie Pierre of
Pittsburg, and Mrs. John (Bernadette)
Denomme, Leandre Bedard, Mrs. Therese
Stark and• Mrs. Lee (Rose) Regier, all of
Zurich; and many step-gran-a:Children and
nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother.

A funeral service was held at St. Peter's
Roman Catholic Church, Goderich on
Tuesday, September 4 at 10:30 a.m. The
Reverend Father Joseph Hardy of , St.
-Peter's officiated.
Pallbearers were Michael Denomme,
John Denomme, Tom Stark, . Gerard
Bedard, Peter Regier and Steven Overholt.
Prayers were said at Stiles Funeral Home
on Monday night, September 3 at 8:45 p.m.,
followed by a Rosary led by the Knights of
Columbus at 9 p.m.
Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery,
R.R. 2 Zurich.
STANLEY BYRSKI
Stanley Byrski of Parkwood Veterans
Care Centre; London, and formerly of
Strathroy, died at Victoria Hospital, London
on Thursdax, August 30 in his 82nd year.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy
(Foster).
He is survived by one son, Edward Byrski
of , Goderich; one- daughter, Mrs. William
( Patricia )• Latham of Sault Ste. Marie; five
grandchildren, Ruth, Theresa, Sheila,

The body of the late Mr. Byrski rested at
the Denning Brothers Funeral Home in
Strathroy where the funeral servicewas
held on Saturday, September 1 at noon. The
Reverend Father Thomas Mooney
officiated.
Cremation followed with interment of
ashes in Strathroy Roman Catholic
Cemetery.
MRS. HELEN ELIZABETH TUCKER
Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Tucker of Goderich
died in Alexandra Marine and General
Hospital on Sunday, September 2 at the age
,of G•7 -- -
She was born on June 11,1927 to John and
Laura (Bateman) Jermyn.
She was predeceased by her husband,
William G. Tucker.
She is survived by two sons, Elmer
Jermyn of Goderich and Wayne Tucker of
Dungannon; one sister, Alma Pinkney of
Seaforth; one brother, Roy Jermyn of
Toronto; three grandchildren, Christopher,
William and Jennifer; - and five step -
grandchildren. •
A funeral service was held at McCallum
Funeral Home in Goderich on Tuesday,
September 4 at 2 p.m. The Reverend Robert
0. Ball of North Street United Church
officiated. '
Pallbearers were .. Kip White, Jim
Robertson, Keri Oke, Charlie Shelton,
George DeJong and Bud Slieardown. ,
Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.
MRS, ISABELLE MAY JOSLING
Mrs. Isabelle May Josling of 106 Picton
Street, East, Goderich, died in Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital on Monday,
August 27 at the age of 78.
She was born m Strathcona, Manitoba on
June 24, 1906 to William and Addie (Main)
Fairservice.
She married Ralph Williatn Josling in
Londesboro on June 1, 1932, I e.survives her.
The late Mrs. Josling was a member of
Knox Presbyterian Church, Goderich.
Besides her husband, she is survived by
one soil, Kenneth and his wife, Audrey, of Ot-
tawa; two sisters, Mrs. George (Effie)
Finley. of Clinton and Mrs. George
(Elizabeth) Fear of Wingham; and one
grandson, Eric Josling of Ottawa.
She was predeceased by one sister, Mts. •
Samuel (Mary) Appleby; and two brothers,
George and Herbert Fairservice.
A funeral service was held Wednesday,
August 29 at 2 p.m. at McCallum Funeral
Home in Goderich. - The Reverend G.L.
, Royal of Knox Presbyterian Church of-
ficiated.
Pallbearers were Donald Appleby of
Parkhill;, Lloyd, Appleby and Garnet
Wright, both of R.R. 1 Londesboro; William
Appleby of Lucan; Lloyd Josling of R.R. 2
Blyth; and George Wright of Clinton.
Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.
